FAQ

What are Hotspots?

Hotspots is fly.town's daily leaderboard of Blackbird restaurants. Each day the top 100 spots on the network are ranked by real check-in volume — no paid placement, no editorial picks.

How is the ranking computed?

A restaurant's rank is its check-in count for the current day, counted from real check-ins on the Blackbird network. The list refreshes hourly, and the arrows next to each rank show movement against yesterday's list.

When do Hotspots reset?

Every morning at 5am ET. Each day's final list is saved as a snapshot, so you can step back through any previous day — or see the all-time leaderboard.

Where does the data come from?

From onchain check-in events on Flynet, the open API layer behind Blackbird. A check-in happens when a diner taps their phone at a Blackbird restaurant; fly.town counts those check-ins to build the rankings and the network stats.
